Project: Developing and supporting new forms of knowledge production and collective intelligence systems

Working across four time zones — Eastern, South Africa, Central European, and Australian Eastern Standard times, Atlantic Institute Senior Fellows, Wilneida, (and from left to right)  Amanda Fononda, Indu Balachandran, and Barbara Van Paassen are exploring ways to support a shift in how knowledge is produced and circulated widely throughout society.  To this end, the group is exploring the role of the global management consulting industry in promulgating certain “truths” and a particular kind of expertise to solve problems in the private and public sector.  The role of artificial intelligence in helping to support new forms of collective intelligence is also explored.
